Indus in medium flood at Kotri

According to a report of the Flood Forecasting Division, the River Indus was in medium flood at Kotri and falling. According to the report, the inflows and outflows of the river Indus at Tarbela were 143,400 cusecs each. The inflows and outflows of the river Kabul at Nowshera were 32,900 cusecs each.
The inflows and outflows of the river Indus at Chashma were 237,200 cusecs and 212,900 cusecs, respectively. The inflows and outflows of the river Jhelum at Mangla were 27,100 cusecs and 28,600 cusecs, respectively. The inflows and outflows of the river Chenab at Marala were 53,400 cusecs and 20,000 cusecs, respectively.
The inflows and outflows at Guddu were 251,100 cusecs and 220,400 cusecs, respectively. The inflows and outflows at Sukkur were 220,300 cusecs and 175,100 cusecs, respectively. The inflows and outflows at Kotri were 306,100 cusecs and 277,400 cusecs, respectively. Moreover, reports of rain have been received from Murree (42 mm), Saidu Sharif (27 mm), Malamjabba (22 mm), Kotli (20 mm), Zhob (15 mm), Lahore (9 mm), Sahiwal (7 mm), Bahawalpur upper (4 mm).
According to meteorological analysis, Thursday's monsoon depression over central Madhya Pradesh on Friday lies over north-west Madhya Pradesh as well marked low. Under the influence of westerly wave it was likely to move in north-north-westerly direction. Southeast monsoon current was penetrating sub-montane districts of Punjab.
