AJK president vows to uphold supremacy of law

The newly-elected President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Zulqarnain Khan has said that all kind of necessary preparations would be made for the supremacy of law, constitution and provision of speedy justice to masses. He stated this while talking to the members of Central Bar Association Muzaffarabad here on Wednesday.
He said government is committed to providing an enabling environment for dispensation of speedy and timely justice for all. Zulqarnain said that lawyers are the important community of the society and they play important role for the provision of justice to the masses doorsteps.
He said that government is determined to solve the lawyer's problems on priority basis. He said that shortage of judges would be fulfilled in the courts for this a summary has already be send.
He said the speedy dispensation of justice has been one of the top priorities on our agenda and underlined that the governance could only improve if people have easy access to justice, which is quick and inexpensive.
He said government has taken reforms in all these areas. In the judicial sphere, an Access to Justice Programme is presently underway to improve the delivery of justice.
Raja Zulqarnain more added that he is fully aware the problems of lawyers community and determined to solve these problems on permanent basis. Earlier the President Bar Association Khawaja Maqbool War highlighted the problems faced by lawyer's community.
