Prisoners' van crashes into donkey cart: 6 killed

A prisoners' van of Kasur Police Station on Wednesday collided with a donkey cart near Brothers' Sugar Mill leaving four dead and three others injured. According to details, a van (LWD-2794) carrying prisoners from Kasur Jail was heading for Choonian Court to present them before the court.
Due to high speed the driver lost control over the steering wheel and collided with a donkey cart. Later, it ran over a motorcycle (KSA-9046). Resultantly, four persons, Maqboolan Bibi, Imran and two unidentified men were killed on the spot, while three others injured. The injured were identified as Irfan, Safia Bibi and an unknown person.
They were rushed to the Choonian Hospital. In another road mishap, a tractor-trolley hit two brothers Khalil Ahmed and Tahir Khan, riding a motorcycle near Bhooe Aasel. Both men died on the spot, while the tractor-trolley driver managed to flee from the spot.
