Chairperson Pakistan People's Party (Shaheed Bhutto) Ghinwa Bhutto has said that the government has failed to run the country affairs smoothly, hence it should hold fresh general elections.
While addressing the members of Lahore Bar Association, here on Saturday, Ghinwa held the country's political parties responsible of prevailing situation in the country. 'The country's political parties are neither organised nor enjoy public confidence', she added.
She said that present political parties were not capable to fight against the present government. She said that Charter of Democracy signed by the PPP and PML-N was aimed at safeguarding their own interests.
