The Sindh government has handed over Rs 30 million to the fund of Provincial Relief Commissioner for undertaking relief and rehabilitation work in areas of Hyderabad, Thatta, Mirpurkhas and Sanghar districts, which were hit hard by the recent heavy rains in the province.
The funds were released on the directive of Adviser to Sindh chief minister for finance M.A. Jalil, said a statement here on Sunday. "If need be, more funds will be deposited in the relief fund," said the adviser.
