Traffic on the National Highway from Thatta to Hyderabad was restored after draining out rainwater from submerged portion near Jhirik Sunday night around 9pm. The water was drained out in upper KB Feeder through six cuts.
Officials of district administration and National Highway Authority (NHA) reached the blocked portion and started towing out stranded vehicles and supervising relief works.
