Work on health reforms on fast track: chief minister

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a meeting with Air Vice Marshal Shahzad Hasan Chaudhry (Retd), Pakistan Ambassador to Sri Lanka here on Sunday said that after achieving greater success in educational programme, work was going on fast track on health reforms in the province.
He said under the health programme, improvement with better emergency facilities, well-rooted health centres were now being upgraded throughout Punjab.
Punjab CM told that Industrial Development and Management Company with private partnership had already taken abundant steps to boost industrial development in the province.
The CM told that up till now Rs 9 billion investments in industry and related matters had been placed in Sundar Industrial area. He said due to these investments, a lot of employment opportunities would emerge in the area.
Pakistan ambassador to Sri Lanka speaking on the occasion said that all efforts were taking place to improve trade relations with Sri Lanka.
