Musharraf arrives in Belgium

President Pervez Musharraf arrived here on Monday on a four-day visit during which he will have substantive interaction with the European leaders on international and regional issues and also address a forum on Kashmir.
"I look forward to a very substantive interaction throughout my stay here," the President said here on his arrival. Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, high-ranking Belgian officials and Pakistan's ambassador to Belgium Saeed Khalid received the President at the airport. Two children presented bouquet to the President and First Lady Begum Sehba Musharraf.
President Musharraf is the first Pakistani head of state to visit Belgium. During his stay in Brussels the President has hectic engagements that includes an address to the opening session of the Global Discourse on Kashmir and address to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament.
