Association of Payphone Operators (APO) has welcomed the new tariffs for payphone industry, recently introduced by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) after comprehensive mutual consultation.
The APO also expressed its resolve for the re-growth of payphone industry by checking its decline. The new tariffs, effective from September 1, offer best ever rates for nation-wide dialling, international, mobile and local calls and also a substantial reduction in line rent for licensed payphone operators.
