Japan may buy wheat from US

Japan's Agriculture Ministry said on Tuesday it had offered to buy a total of 60,000 tonnes of milling wheat from the United States, Canada and Australia in a regular weekly tender closing on Thursday.
All shipments are set to take place in December. The ministry will announce the results of the tender on Thursday. It is not planning to buy barley at the tender, a ministry official said.
