Singapore bunker fuel prices steady

Singapore bunker prices were stable on Tuesday as its premium to fuel oil cargo values hovered at $1-$2 a tonne for a third consecutive day amid poor demand.
Prices for the 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $285-$287 a tonne, unchanged from Monday's Asian close, while its differential to fuel oil was steady at $1.10.
"It's very quiet today. Even the low-end guys are having trouble finding business with offers at below cargo values. I think buyers are waiting for some clear direction before committing themselves," a Singapore-based supplier said.
