NWFP minister, brother arrested in murder cases

Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nowshera, Ashfaq Taj, on Wednesday rejected bail petitions of NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan and his brother Anwar Khan in a murder case and ordered their arrests.
Crime branch police arrested both the accused from the courtroom and started interrogation. Provincial Minister for Health Inayatullah Khan and his brother ex-MPA Muhammad Anwar Khan had filed an application in the court of Additional Session Judge, Nawshehra, pleading bail before arrest in a murder case. The court, however, rejected bail pleas of both the accused and sent them in police custody.
Prosecution accused the provincial minister and his ex-MPA brother of involvement allegedly in the murder of social Security Officer Jahanzaib Khan on September 2 at G.T. Road, Nowshera.
In the first information report (FIR) was registered by the police on the report of the son of the deceased Jahanzaib Khan, who complained that his father was killed at the behest of the Provincial Health Minister Inayatullah Khan and his brother Anwar Khan. Deceased Jahanzaib Khan and accused Minister Inayatullah Khan and his ex-MPA brother were involved in a property dispute since long.
