A top official of the customs and excise group, Mrs Musarrat Jabeen, has assumed charge of the CBR (member) tax policy and reforms, replacing Khawaja Tanvir Ahmed, who is on training.
Musarrat is a grade-21 official of customs and excise group and headed various important positions, including collector of customs at Karachi. CBR members have started giving presentations to the new member to update her on the tax-wise performance and ongoing reform projects.
