NWFP Senior Minister Siraj-ul-Haq has said the MMA government will continue its endeavours for ensuring genuine rights of the province. He said the sense of deprivation of the poor masses would be removed by accelerating the pace of progress and prosperity in the province.
Siraj-ul-Haq, who is also provincial Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) was addressing public rallies at village Ghanam Shah and adjacent mountainous areas in Munda Tehsil during his visit to Dir Lower District.
He revealed that NWFP would be renamed after emerging victorious in the struggle of getting hydel net profit and its outstanding arrears from the center. He said Hisba bill would also be enacted to pave the way for judicious and welfare Islamic society in the province.
On this occasion, ANP local leaders Haji Umera Khan, Haji Gul Mula Khan, Anwar Khan, Shah Yousaf Khan, Habibullah Khan, Sher Bahadur, Amir Badshah, Lal Badshah and Aman Khan announced their joining to JI along with hundreds of their supporters and family members. They lauded the role of JI leadership for Shariah, provincial rights and welfare of the poor masses and assured all out support in this respect.
Siraj said the MMA was trying to create environment of political fraternity and stabilising the democratic institutions in the country. He said their alliance would never compromise on religious and democratic values at any cost.
