Yousaf Raza Gillani, former speaker National Assembly and Vice Chairman Peoples Party was refused visa by the British High Commission and was accused of passport tempering on Saturday.
Reliable sources at the British High Commission told Online that Yousaf Raza Gillani applied for visa on the official blue passport and submitted his passport via a private courier company FedEx that bore the designation of 'speaker national assembly'.
This passport was issued to him during his capacity as speaker national assembly during the Benazir Bhutto's period of premiership. Yusuf Raza Gillani himself wrote the words "former" in front of the designation of speaker national assembly.
Terming it tempering, the British High Commission has refused to issue the visa to the former speaker. Keeping his capacity in view the case has so far not being forwarded to FIA.
