Awards for Royal Saudi Arabian Army officers

The award ceremony of Parachute Training School was held here on Saturday to award wings to the qualified officers and jawans of Royal Saudi Arabian Army in special Basic Air Borne Course.
The Officer Commanding Special Services Group, Major General Tahir Mahmood was the chief guest on the occasion, said a release of ISPR here.
In all 49 trainees including officers and jawans of the brethren country successfully completed the course. The Chief Guest awarded para wings to officers on successful completion of training, while best performance prize was given to Lieutenant Fayaz Suliman Al Fayal.
Addressing on the occasion, Major General Tahir Mahmood said that the completion of this training was ample testimony of the physical and mental toughness of officers and men of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces. He said that award of para wing made them distinct from a common soldier and henceforth put more responsibilities on their shoulders. He stressed upon the successful trainees to work further hard for achieving professional excellence.
