Mushahid greets Bangladesh's Nobel laureate

Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Chairman Mushahid Hussain Sayed on Friday congratulated Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh, who has been awarded Nobel Peace Prize for his contributions to fight poverty.
In a message to the Nobel laureate, Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said, "It is a matter of pride for people of Bangladesh, South Asia and for Muslims that Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank have been awarded the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize".
Senator Mushahid said it was the recognition of the efforts of Muhammad Yunus, who worked hard for alleviation of the suffering humanity, poor and oppressed. He said, "Muhammad Yunus has shown himself to be a leader who has managed to translate visions into practical action.
