ISE equities witness broad-based recovery

Equities witnessed broad-based recovery at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls commanded the proceedings under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten index showed an improvement of 104.58 points, as the index moved from 2,901.83 to 3,006.41 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 277,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 492,300 shares. Total 116 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (61) closed in positive territory, 55 landed in minus zone, whereas zero companies remained pegged to their previous levels.
The turnover of OGDCL was 127,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 316,400 shares. The volume of National Bank was 101,200 shares. The volume of MCB was 20,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 88,800 shares. Top gainer was OGDCL with an increase of Rs 7.30 per share, whereas Jahangir Siddiqui showed a decrease of Rs 9.85 per share.
