Supreme Court takes notice of housing society's irregularities

The Supreme Court has directed the chief secretary Punjab to regulate affairs of Punjab Small Industries Employees Co-operative Housing Society (PSIECHS), Lahore.
The Apex Court had taken suo motu notice on application of some members of the housing society who complained that the management of the society had allotted 1,700 residential plots against 1,300 available plots. The court also directed NAB to complete its investigation into the affairs of the housing society at the earliest.
