This decision was taken by the FTO on the complaint of the Al-Sal-Vera Enterprises (Pvt) Limited, Sheikhupura, for refund claim against the Sales Tax Department, Lahore.
The FTO has directed the CBR to finalise refund claims of the complainant as found admissible under law on merits and where any claim, on processing, is found admissible and not in accordance with provisions of law, the department will issue show-cause notice before rejecting the same to enable the complainant to seek further remedy from a competent forum whereas the complainant will supply all the missing documents, statements to remove the objections raised by the respondents to enable them to process and decide the claim on merits. The FTO has also asked CBR to submit report in this regard within three months of receipt of the order.
