President, Pakistan Muslim League, Shujaat Hussain, said on Saturday that the government had decided to hold dialogue with all political parties, represented in parliament, to prepare mutually accepted 'Code of Ethics' for next general elections.
Talking to newsmen here at PML House, he said that the government has extended invitation to the representatives of all political parties in the parliament to submit their recommendations and suggestions to prepare a comprehensive and acceptable code of ethics for the elections. Shujaat said there was no chance of early elections, and added that the next general elections would be held according to schedule.
About 'allowing' Benazir and Nawaz to come to Pakistan before general elections, he said that both were living abroad according to their own will and decision. The PML President, however, said that even if they would be invited to come to Pakistan before the elections, they would not come.
