Afghan foreign minister phones Kasuri

Afghan foreign minister Dr Rangin Dadfar Spanta on Saturday made a telephone call on foreign minister Khurshid Mehmud Kasuri to extend Eid greetings and exchange views on bilateral matters. According to the foreign office, the Afghan foreign minister renewed his invitation to Kasuri to visit Afghanistan.
Khurshid Kasuri, while thanking the invitation, said the whole month of November is busy for foreign office due to more than ten high-level visits to Islamabad.
The foreign minister said he would try his best to visit Afghanistan in the first week of December. Both the foreign ministers also discussed bilateral relations and efforts to fight against terrorism.
They also discussed the follow-up of the tri-lateral meeting held in Washington between President Bush, President Musharraf and President Karzai. Kasuri, thanking the call from Afghan foreign minister, said both the countries would continue their efforts to cooperate in the fight against terrorism and keep in touch to further improve this co-operation.
