Military supplies: Ukraine to sign $100 million deal with Pakistan

Ukraine's Malyshhev Munitions Factory Nationa Company will make a contract with Defence Ministry of Pakistan on military supplies of 100 million dollars or more.
Hennadiy Hrytsenko, Malyshev's Munitions Factory Director, said, "as for now, we have finalised preliminary work with Pakistan's Defence Ministry. We cannot reveal any other details." Malyshev's Factory is to deliver all utilities and optional equipment for armoured technics supplied before to Pakistan.
The new deal will give opportunity to overcome financial crisis, factory's officials opine: "We are convinced that due to contract, financial state of the company will get stabilised in January-February 2007."
Since year 2002, Malyshev's Factory got $7-10 million of annual losses. In 1996-2002 it was profitable enterprise due to military supplies to Pakistan.
