Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Major General Shaukat Sultan on Thursday said that Madrassah in Bajaur was imparting suicide attack training and its administration was warned before the operation to stop its activities.
While talking to a private channel, he said that prior to bombing the Madrassah the administration of the said seminary was warned to stop its activities but it paid no heed and continued imparting militancy training. The ISPR DG also said the Madrassah students were being physically and mentally trained to become suicide-attackers. Replying to a question, he said the government will not allow its territory to be used against any other country.
Major General Shaukat Sultan said that Pakistan must take pragmatic measures to root out terrorism from the country, adding that Security Forces are fully equipped to tackle any untoward incident underlining that all the entry and exit points are cordoned off.
