Punjab Social Services Board (PSSB) Chairman Saba Sadiq has asked the government servants to work with national zeal, as "team work" is must to attain the set goals and get fruit of the collective efforts.
She was addressing the "Eid Milan" arranged in her honour by the PSSB employees on awarding one month's salary as a bonus on Eid and increase in annual grant.
Saba Sadiq maintained that efforts of each individual counted and played an important role in the system, adding that improvement in efficiency itself rewarded honour and dignity. By adopting the same principles, other nations had developed themselves, she said.
Saba said the credit of increase in annual grant of the Board went to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi who acknowledged the working of Social Services Board.
She said that payment of one-month salary as bonus was her decision to encourage the employees and now they should come up to the expectations and serve their manifesto. Punjab Social Welfare Director General Syed Haider Mehdi and employees of the board attended the function.
