Countrywide dengue cases climb to 3,640

So far, a total of 3,640 patients with signs and symptoms similar to the dengue fever have been admitted to different hospitals across Pakistan. About 1,410 patients have been found positive for dengue fever all over the country by Thursday, said a press statement from Ministry of Health.
There have been a total of 37 deaths form the disease, of which 35 were reported from the Sindh while two were from NWFP. No death has been reported so far from other parts of the country.
While a total of 559 patients were admitted to different hospitals of Islamabad and Rawalpindi with sings and symptoms similar to dengue fever to date.
By Thursday evening the total number of positive cases in Islamabad and Rawalpindi stood at 197 (100 from different hospitals of Rawalpindi and 97 from Islamabad).
