Musharraf and Ellahi's visit to Sheikhupura reviewed

Sheikhupura Association of Industry, in its general meeting held on Saturday, reviewed at length the visit of President General Pervez Musharraf to Sheikhupura.
The meeting, which was presided over by Shahzad Ali Nagina, observed that the visit of General Musharraf, Governor Khalid Maqbool and Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi, would help resolve the problems of this ever-neglected city.
Nagina hoped that the government will play an important role for the development of the industry, education, health and social sectors, which will go a long way in overall progress and uplift of the area.
It was also observed in the meeting that lack of vocational and training institutions, health care centres, fire brigade, security system, were the major problems of the dwellers of Sheikhupura. The participants of the meeting also demanded construction of an industrial workers' colony, playground and proper drainage system in the area.
