ISE index loses 17.56 points

Bears snatched the floor from the bulls at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in hot favourite amid decrease in index. The ISE-10 index showed a decrease of 17.56 points as it moved from 2,751.73 to 2,734.17 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 296,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 246,200 shares. Total 124 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (68) closed in negative territory, 56 showed minus signs.
The turnover of OGDCL was 110,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 52,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 61,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement Company Limited was 50,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 130,000 shares. Top gainer was Packages Limited with an increase of Rs 7 per share, while top loser was Mustehkam Cement with a decrease of Rs 6.50 per share.
