MMA meeting on December 7

Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) has convened a joint meeting of all its members of senate, national and four provincial assemblies on December 7 and 8 in Islamabad, to finalise a strategy to submit resignations from the National Assembly as well as four provincial assemblies.
MMA leader and Naib Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Liaqat Baloch disclosed this while talking to newsmen, here on Saturday. 'Every member of MMA is anxious for submitting resignation while it was resolved that the MMA members would submit their resignations collectively', he added. It does not make any difference if the next session of National Assembly is delayed, he maintained.
Commenting on Women Protection Bill, he said the bill that Shujaat Hussain got approved from the National Assembly is totally in confrontation with the Ulema suggestions. MMA will be ready to render any type of sacrifice for the ideology of Pakistan and supremacy of Quran and Sunnah, he said.
He further said that General Pervez Musharraf was implementing the US agenda to make the country a secular state while the US wants to change our culture on western style. 'MMA Punjab is holding its meeting on Sunday to chalk out strategy for submission of resignations from the assembly and launching movement against the present government.
