Chairman Senate Mohammedmian Soomro has called for launching more housing projects by public and private sectors to facilitate the low income groups in the country.
Addressing at the ground-breaking ceremony of a private housing scheme here on Sunday, he stressed upon the potential investors to invest in the housing sector. He said tremendous potential exists in the housing sector as it not only generates economic activity but also provides job opportunities to the unemployed lot of the country.
Soomro said the government and the private sector should ensure cost effective and quality accommodation while launching any housing society so that the low income group could benefit.
