ISE equities suffer losses

Equities witnessed across the board losses at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE-10 index showed a decrease of 73.65 points as it moved from 2,679.71 to 2606.06 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 154,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 213,000 shares. Total 132 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (90) closed in negative territory, 42 landed in plus column.
The turnover of OGDCL was 89,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 89,500 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 20,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 33,800 shares. The volume of Muslim Commercial Bank was 20,000 shares.
Top gainer was Packages Limited with an increase of Rs 8.20 per share, while top loser was Arif Habib Securities with a decrease of Rs 210.82 per share.
