Argentine soya's closing prices and trends on Wednesday: Soya closed higher at 612 pesos ($199) per tonne in main grain port of Rosario, compared with Tuesday's price of 610 pesos. Traders said prices tracked gains in the influential Chicago market and sustained local demand.
Trade volume was 50,000 tonnes, similar to the two previous sessions. Rosario soya for April/May, quoted in US dollars, rose $1 to $192 per tonne. In the southern port of Bahia Blanca, the oilseed finished up 5 pesos to 595 pesos per tonne while it Quequen it rose 3.9 pesos to 580 pesos per tonne.
