Argentine soya's closing prices and trends on Monday: Soya closed higher at 625 pesos ($202) per tonne in main grain port of Rosario, compared with Friday's 620 pesos. It was the seventh straight rise and traders said prices increased on gains in influential Chicago market.
Trade volume was a light 15,000-20,000 tonnes, down from the previous session's 30,000 tonnes. Rosario soya for April/May, quoted in US dollars, was also up, gaining $3 to $198 per tonne.
In the southern port of Bahia Blanca, where no closing prices were listed for Friday, the oilseed finished at 600 pesos per tonne. In Quequen, it was stable at 585 tonnes.
