Latest technology should be adopted to provide relief to the public in their daily routine; Nadra Kiosks will facilitate the Karachiites to pay their utility bills in hassle free manner.
This was stated by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan while inaugurating the Nadra swift registration Center and Kiosk project (Utility bill payment system) here at North Nazimabad on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor lauded the efforts of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) in churning out projects to facilitate the general public and said that such a solution was long in demand as the people are facing a lot of difficulties in payment of their utility bills.
He further hoped that Nadra's Kiosk project would provide great relief to the public in payment of their utility bills in a respectable and hassle free manner instead of waiting in long queues etc.
Dr Ebad said that since all the facilities, Nadra has so far designed or aims to provide are CNIC centric therefore people must get themselves registered with Nadra and get their CNICs made as soon as possible, this would enable the government to plan further facilities for people, he added.
The governor urged that the female population must also get themselves registered with the authority as facilities such as passports are also linked now with the computerised ID card.
Present on the occasion, the GM Public Service Division Nadra, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hamid Shah (Retd) briefed the governor about Nadra's Kiosk project. He said that the authority is working round-the-clock to discourage VIP-culture and facilitate the masses, especially senior citizens and the physically challenged.
