Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Imtiaz Hussain on Saturday visited the exercise area and witnessed the ongoing Pak-Saudi Joint Exercise "ALSAMSAAM-2" (Sharp Sword) which envisages conduct of various operations of mechanised warfare in the desert terrain.
He appreciated the professionalism and dedication of participating troops from both forces in making "AL-SAMSAAM-2" a realistic and highly useful joint training efforts.
While addressing the troops, Lieutenant General Imtiaz Hussain highlighted the importance of rigorous training during peace aimed at maintaining a high level of battle worthiness. The exercise is entering into its final phase in which gunship helicopters and fighter aircraft shall also be integrated with mechanised troops.
