FPCCI elections: Tanvir Sheikh nominated for BP president

Businessmen Panel (BP)Chairman Tariq Saeed has nominated Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh as nominee of Businessmen Panel for president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and hoped that Businessmen Panel (BP) would sweep the polls with overwhelming majority.
According to a spokesman of Alliance of Southern Punjab's Recognised Chambers and Trade Association on Saturday, the announcement was made during a gathering of representatives of trade associations and recognised chambers, members of executive committee in MCCI.
On the occasion, Tariq also nominated Azhar Saeed Butt as nominee for FPCCI vice president from Punjab and Farooq Dadabhoi as nominee for FPCCI Vice President from Sindh. All the participants reposed their confidence in the leadership of Tariq Saeed and endorsed the decision of nomination of Mian Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh for FPCCI Presidency.
Tariq Saeed said Malik Iftikhar Ahmed had assured of full co-operation and wholehearted support in the forthcoming FPCCI elections, which had broken the back of the opponents. He further said they had got success in Azad Kashmir, NWFP, Balochistan and other areas and their candidates would secure more than 60 percent votes.
