Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a meeting with Daniyal Aziz Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau here on Sunday said that due to visionary policies of President Pervez Musharraf, the Country had entered the era of development.
The CM said that due to excellent working relations between Local governments and Provincial government, benefits were being transferred at grass root level. Elahi said that extra funds were being provided to District governments.
The CM said under the system of Local governments besides provision of fresh water, sewerage and sanitation system was being improved. Daniyal Aziz speaking on the occasion averred that Local government system was integral party of overall development agenda of the government.
