Dr M Shaukat Ali, a BS-21 officer of the Economists Group, presently serving as Joint Chief Economist, Planning Commission, Planning and Development Division is appointed Chief Economist, Planning Commission, Planning and Development Division with effect from November 25, 2006.
A notification of the Planning Division adds Dr M. Shaukat Ali has been given acting charge in his own pay and scale till further orders.
