Pakistan and Argentina have decided to undertake joint ventures in livestock and dairy production and carry out joint research in agro-technology including oilseed and hybrid seed production in Pakistan.
A Memorandum of Understanding in this connection was signed on Wednesday in Buenos Aires. Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Sikandar Bosan and his Argentine counterpart Miguel Campos signed the document. The MoU contemplates exchange of scientists, research and expertise including in biotechnology. The MoU also covers import and export of agri products.
Bosan highlighted specific areas, in which Pakistan was looking for mutually beneficial collaboration with Argentine, said a message received here today.
