Hashoo Group builds 5-star hotel at Gwadar

The newly constructed billion rupees five-star hotel 'Zaver Pearl' in Gwadar will generate 300 jobs besides providing facilitates to local and foreign business communities. This was stated by Hashoo Group (HG) Chairman Sadurddin Hashwani at a press conference held at a local hotel on Wednesday.
He said that HG is the first private group, which has initiated investment in Gwadar as in the first phase it will build a five star hotel with the investment of Rs 1 billion. President General Pervez Musharaf inaugurated the hotel last month and appreciated the efforts taken by HG for development of Gwadar, he added.
He said that the Zaver Pearl has a breathtaking view of both the Arabian Sea and the newly built port and is conveniently accessible by air, road and sea. The hotel has been constructed in a record time and will boost development of Gwadar by providing first class accommodation to international business community as well as to tourists, besides creating employment opportunities and economic activities for the local population, he added.
He said that in addition to the state-of-the-art Zaver PC, HG has launched the largest real estate project in Gwadar, known as 'Golden Palms', where development work is in progress, including construction of staff residences.
Water is a major problem of Gwadar. So, keeping in view the difficulties of water, HG decided to set up a desalination plant at Gwadar. Desalination plant is already functional in the Golden Palms.
He said: "We are trying to adjust more and more local people into Hashoo's projects," and added that thew newly constructed Zaver Hotel would generate 300 jobs."
He said that HG has plans for bringing quality education at the doorsteps of the poor people of Balochistan by establishing high quality educational institutions, which will provide education from primary to secondary levels. Regarding problems of land in Gwadar, he said that there are some misunderstandings, but land problems would be solved soon.
