Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has finalised the award of contract for supply of 50,000 tons of urea from international sources at a rate of $270 per metric ton C and F.
According to a TCP official here on Wednesday, the bidders had quoted a price ranging between $275.80 to 298.85 per metric tons against the international tender for the purchase of 50,000 metric tons of urea to cater to domestic demand.
The official said price evaluation committee of TCP considered the bids and after taking into account the FOB prices (ranging from $250 to 253 per metric ton) has successfully negotiated the price with the lowest bidders and saved $290,000 in this deal.
