Khateeb served notice for delaying 'Azan'

A member of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has served a legal notice on Khateeb of Faisal Mosque Islamabad asking him to explain as to why 'Asar Azan' was delayed during visit of British Prime Minister to the mosque.
M D Tahir in his legal notice contended that it was a dark day in the country's history as Azan was delayed. He said Pakistan is an Islamic country, hence such event should not be happened. He, therefore, asked Khateeb of Faisal Masjid to explain his position within fortnight otherwise he will approach the court of law against him.
