Six perish in road mishap

In a dreadful crash between the two trucks on the Northern Bypass here, six persons hailing from Nawabshah perished, while 10 were injured.
Police said that the two sides of the Northern Bypass near Hamdard University were being paved for which piles of 'bajri' and stones have been stored on both sides of the road, where a truck overloaded with foliage had stuck up at 4am on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, another truck carrying corrugated iron sheets from Hub and heading towards Tool Plaza rammed into the stationary truck, resulting in the death of six persons-Muhammad Luqman, Rahim Mehar, Haji Gul Muhammad Mehar, Muhammad Rafiq, Ashfaque Khan and one unidentified person.
