Corps Commander Lieutenant-General Shafaat Ullah Shah has underscored the need for extensive training in varied terrains under diverse weather conditions to further enhance the battle worthiness of the defending outfits.
He was talking to officers during his visit to exercise area, near Kasur. General Officer Commanding Major-General Ghulam Mustafa Kausar and Major-General Raheel Sharif were also present on the occasion.
Lieutenant-General Shafaat Ullah Shah said that in the wake of speedy technological advancement in all spheres of life the tactics of warfare had become a challenging task. He advised them to have mastery over the assigned tasks and devote all their energies in updating their professional knowledge.
He said that soldiering was a noble profession and their every gesture should match with their duty towards the country. Later, he witnessed the joint defenses prepared by the Engineers and Infantry Elements.-PR
