Police have dispersed the motorcyclists rally of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Shabab-e-Milli workers by resorting mild lathicharge at Saleemi Chowk and arrested more than one dozen activists and about a hundred motorcycles were taken into custody, here on Sunday.
This protest rally was taken out from Chartered Bank Chowk at about 10:30am instead of Al-Markaz-e-Islami Chiniot Bazar, where police had blocked the streets to stop the possession of JI workers.
