Cut in oil prices to provide relief to people

The federal government has provided relief to the people especially low income segment of the society by reducing prices of petrol and diesel, which will also result in decrease in the rate of essential items besides cut in the expenditure on transportation.
Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals, Muhammad Sibtain Khan and Punjab Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema stated this while reacting to cut in oil prices.
The ministers said this substantial decrease in the fuel prices will leave a positive impact on agriculture and industrial sectors and promote industrial activities. They said that successful economic policies of the government are being acknowledged at the local as well as international level and all economic indicators point to a prosperous future.
They said that Pakistan Muslim League (PML) government has always shown keen interest in the welfare of the masses and reduction in the fuel prices is a proof of successful economic policies. They said that PML government has proved its commitment to the poor masses by substantially decreasing petroleum prices and the decision will check price-hike and provide relief to the people.
