Bulls strengthened their position at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready board in the upward direction amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 14.94 points from 2,699.87 to 2,714.81 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 269,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 445,100 shares. Total 119 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks, 68, closed in positive territory, and 51 landed in minus column.
The volume of OGDCL was 133,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 195,200 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 57,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 69,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 20,500 shares.
