National Assembly Speaker, Chaudhry Amir Hussain has condemned the Peshawar bomb blast incident and termed it an inhuman act against the mankind and expressed full sympathises with the bereaved families.
Talking to reporters here on late Saturday, he said there was no room for extremism and terrorism in Islam because tolerance, brotherhood and peace were the fundamental principles of Islam.
He called upon the people to forge complete unity among their ranks to foil the evil motives of anti-state elements. He urged people to keep a vigilant eye on the suspected persons especially on the eve of Ashura in all parts of the country to cope any eventuality, he added.
The speaker further said that collective efforts were direly needed at this juncture for rooting out the menace of terrorism for making Pakistan a terrorist-free country. He said some anti-state elements were trying to create chaos and unrest through their nefarious designs just for the personal gains and to destabilise the economic and development process of the country.
Punjab Industries Minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema, Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Cabinet Division Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Chairman, Task Force, Mian Muhammad Riaz, District Nazim Sialkot Muhammad Akmal Cheema, Tehsil Nazim Sialkot Imtiaz-uddin Dar, President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Abdul Waheed Sandal, Senior Vice President Dr Sarfraz Bashir and Vice President Chaudhry Raza Munir have also condemned the incident.
