Federal Minister for Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that present government has increased the budget for the establishment of nine new universities with the cooperation of developed countries.
Addressing parents' day celebrations at Govt Boys High School Parial Chakri on Sunday, he said these universities will have international standard which will produce graduate, post-graduates and PhD level scholars. The minister said that latest and scientific education is vital for the development of the country. He said the present government has adopted a strategy for the promotion of education.
He said the syllabus from Primary to Secondary level is being modernised for the prosperity and development of the country.
Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that since independence, we could not achieved literacy target and created sectarianism and extremism in the society.
