At least 12 people were injured when two rockets fired by suspected militants struck near a Imambargah in Bannu on Monday, police said. "Twelve people were wounded in the rocket attacks, which apparently targeted a Shia worship place in the city," a senior police officer told AFP by telephone.
Bannu is close to Dera Ismail Khan where earlier a suspected suicide bomber blew himself up, killing two people.
